Little Elissa has been getting out of her crib for the past two weeks. The first time I realized it was on a Saturday, I think. I had put her in her crib and come back downstairs. Not long after that I heard a voice I thought belonged to Emmai. I went in the living room and was amazed to see Elissa in there.
I thought that maybe her brother was helping her to escape until tonight when I saw her in action. I know I should have stopped her, but fascination and curiosity told me to sit back and watch.
It was incredible. She seemed rather athletic as she climbed to the top of the rail and threw over her leg. After she brought over her other leg, she slid down. Finally, I stopped her before her feet touched the floor. And I fussed at her a little too so she wouldn't think i was supporting the break out. We're going to have to get her into a bed really soon.
